01. Price can move faster than you can react
Memecoin prices can change sharply in a short time. Attention can disappear, holders can sell suddenly and a quoted price may be unavailable when you submit a trade. An alert or quick-action control does not guarantee an exit price.
02. Liquidity is not a quoted value
A portfolio estimate does not mean an entire position can be sold for that amount. Thin markets, concentrated holdings and large orders can move the execution price. Slippage settings may affect whether an order completes and what you receive.
03. A popular trader can still be wrong
A leaderboard is a view of selected information, not certainty. Displayed gains can omit context such as timing, costs or positions held elsewhere. A person you follow can enter and exit at different prices.
Posts can be mistaken, biased or promotional. Consider the author’s incentives and independently assess the token. Following someone does not transfer responsibility for your decision to them.
04. Tokens and smart contracts can fail
Tokens can contain restrictions, concentrated control or exploitable code. Contracts and third-party services can fail or be attacked. A familiar name, badge, avatar or community does not establish safety.
Check the contract address and network. Impersonation and look-alike tokens can cause you to trade an entirely different asset from the one intended.
05. Transactions and access can be lost
Transfers to an incorrect address or network may be unrecoverable. Lost recovery material, compromised devices and malicious approvals can cause permanent loss. Keep recovery information out of chats and posts.
Congestion and outages can delay data and execution. An interface can display stale information while blockchain activity continues.
06. Costs and local obligations matter
Platform charges, network costs and price impact can reduce what you receive. Repeated trades can accumulate costs even when a headline return appears positive.
Availability and legal treatment vary by location. Understand the restrictions that apply to you and obtain appropriate advice about reporting or tax obligations.
07. Make an informed decision
Social and visual features make information easier to explore. They do not promise a return, verify every claim or remove trading risk. Demonstrations, animations and illustrative balances are not evidence of achievable outcomes.
Review transaction details before confirming. If you do not understand an asset, permission or transaction, pause and seek independent guidance.
08. Scope of this disclosure
This draft focuses on the proposed memecoin and social trading experience. It does not imply that leverage, derivatives, insured balances or a particular custody arrangement is available.
Different products will require additional disclosures. This overview is not exhaustive and remains pending product and legal review.
